Diploma in Islamic Banking (DIB) Exam – Diploma in Islamic Banking (DIB) Part-I and Part-II Examination- November, 2024 is going to be held on November 23, November 30 and December 07, 2024 at 13 (thirteen) exam centers in Dhaka, Chattogram North, Chattogram South, Khulna, Bogura, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Barishal, Cumilla, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Noakhali and Jashore.

Interested candidates are required to apply through website (www.ibtra.com/dib-info) within September 12-26, 2024. The candidates applying for the first time will be required to submit the followings with forwarding letter duly signed and attested by Head of Branch/ Division/ Wing to Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA), 13A/2A, Block # B, Babar Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka-1207 by post or e-mail through dib.ibtra@islamibankbd.com within September 30, 2024:

  • Copy of online application form.
  • Photocopy of latest academic certificate (minimum graduation certificate is required).
  • Photocopy of Employee ID card.

N.B.

  • Candidate must select the exam center of the Zone where he/she is posted.
  • The exam venue cannot be changed without prior permission of IBTRA. If someone needs to change the exam center he/she must apply 10 days before commencement of the exam by paying Tk. 1000/- using their email and password. Applicants have to appear at exam venue with approval of center change in addition to admit card.
  • Notable that, center change will/may be allowed (if justified) by IBTRA only once against due recommendation from Head of Branch and respective Head of Zone or from Head of Division and respective Head of Wing.
  • Center wise venue and seat plan will be intimated before exam through the website (www.ibtra.com)

The syllabus of Diploma in Islamic Banking (DIB), Part-I Examinations is relatively elementary and is designed to test the candidate’s basic knowledge of Islamic Banking, while the syllabus of Diploma in Islamic Banking (DIB), Part-II Examinations is at an advanced text designed to test the candidates’ theoretical as well as practical knowledge and understanding of the difference between Islamic and Conventional Banking and allied matters that is necessary for better decision-making by Bankers.
