M S Akanda: Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has launched a prepaid card called the DNCC Smart Parking Card to pay the smart on-street parking service fee of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC). Dhaka North City Corporation has initiated the “Smart On Street Parking” to provide app-based parking services for managing and resolving parking issues on various important roads in the capital.
The on-street parking service fee must be paid through the app or via a bank card. In line with this, Islami Bank has launched the DNCC Smart Parking Card. Any person who is not an account holder of Islami Bank can collect and use the DNCC Smart Parking Card. You can load money onto this card from a minimum of one hundred taka to a maximum of ten thousand taka through any branch of Islami Bank or via CRM/CellFin.”
Moreover, the DNCC Smart Parking Card is linked to Islami Bank’s digital wallet, CellFin. Through the add button on the cellphone, customers can easily load money onto the card and check the balance. There are no renewal or cancellation fees for this card. The replacement fee is Tk 200, and the PIN reset fee is Tk 50. After successfully transferring this card to CellFin, it can be saved in the favorite options, making fund transfers from CellFin much easier.

- The Islami Bank Smart Parking Card is a specialized card used solely for paying parking fees at Point of Sale (POS) machines located at DNCC Wardens.
- You can instantly collect this card from DNCC Wardens or from Islami Bank branches at Gulshan, Gulshan Circle-1, and Banani for a period of 5 years.
- After collecting the card from the DNCC Warden, visit the nearest branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBPLC) to activate it.
- Cards collected from Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBPLC) branches can be activated at the bank’s ATMs, CRM booths, or POS machines.
The contactless DNCC Smart Parking Card of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBPLC) can only be used for paying parking fees. Additionally, this card allows cash-in facility from any bank or Mobile Financial Services (MFS).
